Freeze Forward:
A Community-Led Campaign for Fertility Access

Let’s start with one woman. One cycle. A future reclaimed and the start of something much bigger. Because no one should have to choose between their passion and their future.

Millions of women working for themselves or navigating career transitions don’t have access to fertility benefits.

We’re launching Onward’s Freeze Forward as a small but powerful first step: a donor-funded egg freezing cycle for one independent woman. Her story is the beginning of a new kind of care model built on generosity, autonomy, and community support.

Health isn’t a corporate perk. It’s a human right that shouldn't depend on employment status.

Where the Money Goes

Together, we can cover the costs insurance and traditional systems won’t. Your donation helps cover:

  • Her fertility consultation

  • Medication & retrieval

  • One year of egg storage

  • Out-of-pocket cycle costs

A full cycle with Kindbody¹ typically runs between $6,900–$8,400, and medications add $4,000–$6,000 more, so we’re aiming to raise $15,000 to ensure she’s fully covered from start to finish without compromise.

Every dollar possible will support her care. A small portion may go toward unavoidable processing fees, if applicable.

We’re building Onward to unlock healthcare, resources, and wellness benefits for freelancers, the self-employed, and really anyone who is fed up with the way it is today. This pilot is our first real-world test, showing what happens when we fund direct care, transparently and with autonomy and dignity at the center.

Giving FAQs

  • This pilot is funding one full egg freezing cycle for one independent woman. This means someone without adequate access to fertility benefits through a traditional employer.

  • Fertility care is often out of reach for people without traditional jobs. By funding this cycle, we’re starting to close that gap and proving that care doesn’t have to depend on employment status.

  • Not at this time. This pilot is running under our existing business structure. If that changes, we’ll notify all donors immediately.

  • Every dollar possible will go toward the cost of the care including consultations, medications, egg retrieval, and one year of storage. A small portion may go to cover unavoidable payment processing fees.

  • Any additional funds will be reserved for the next cause we fund, so you're helping future recipients too!

  • We’ll share what we can and honor what she needs. Out of respect for her privacy, we may not share identifying details or the full journey. That’s entirely up to her.
